Melanie Laplaca

Melanie LaPlaca currently serves as a Teacher of Television Production at South Hunterdon Regional High School District since September 2021. An accomplished author, Melanie has published several books, including *The Teacher's Guide to Self-Care*, *The Pregnancy Primer: The Expectant Mother's Guide to All 9 Months*, *My Dearest Sister: A Heartfelt Guide to the Love, Friendship, and Lifelong Bonds of Sorority Life*, and *My Dearest Bridesmaid: A Heartfelt Keepsake from the Bride in your Life* through Skyhorse Publishing, Inc. Melanie also has significant experience in the media industry, having worked as a freelance writer for YurView and in various on-air and production roles with companies such as RCN, Cox Communications, and The Patriot League. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Boston University and a dual Bachelor’s degree in American Studies, Mathematics, and Theatre Arts from Rutgers University.
