Richard Shaw

Richard Shaw is currently a Design:Midlands Panel Member at Design Midlands, where Richard works with various sectors to shape better places across the Midlands. Richard has a background in urban design and transportation planning, with previous roles as a Principal Design Officer at South Kesteven District Council, Design Excellence Officer at South Derbyshire District Council, and Urban Designer at FPCR. Richard also has experience in education, mentoring at Beardall Street Primary and Nursery School, and in consultancy roles at Transport & Travel Research Ltd and IBM as a tennis analyst. Richard holds degrees in Urban Design, Transportation Planning and Policy, and Town Planning.
