Will Sarett

Will Sarett has extensive work experience in various roles within the education sector and the culinary industry. Will currently holds the position of Executive Director of Human Resources at the South Kitsap School District since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at the Yakima School District #7 from 2021 to 2022. Will also held roles such as Director of Career & College Readiness and Director of Career and Technical Education at the same district from 2017 to 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Career and Technical Education at Spokane Public Schools from 2016 to 2017. Before transitioning into the education field, they gained culinary experience as a Corporate Executive Chef at Eurest Event Management from 1997 to 1998 and as a Banquet Catering Chef at Rays Boathouse Restaurant from 1995 to 1997.

Will Sarett's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at Washington State University. Will pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications, completing their studies in 1993. In 1994, they continued their education at the California Culinary Academy, where they earned an Associate's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. Will then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, at Central Washington University from 2003 to 2005. Later, in 2007 and 2008, they attended Seattle Pacific University to obtain a Professional Principal Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
