Colin Park

Colin Park is an experienced transportation professional with over 30 years in the field, currently serving as the Head of Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services at South Lanarkshire Council since March 2002. In this role, Colin oversees a multi-functional team of over 500 employees, managing substantial financial responsibilities including £32 million in revenue and £29 million in capital projects. Colin's previous positions at South Lanarkshire Council include Head of Roads and Transportation Services and Engineering Manager for Transportation Engineering, overseeing various specialist engineering teams. Colin's early career included roles at Glasgow City Council and South Lanarkshire Council, as well as a trainee technician position at Strathclyde Regional Council. Colin holds a Master's Degree in Transport Planning & Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University and an HNC in Civil Engineering from Stow College of Engineering.
