Jane Adler

Board Member at South Middlesex Opportunity Council

Jane Adler is a board member at South Middlesex Opportunity Council. Jane was previously the Program Manager for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 and the Choice Implementation grant at The Community Builders, Inc.

Adler was responsible for operating a $78 million HUD NSP2 grant and a $29.5 million Choice Implementation grant. Jane served as the primary relationship manager with HUD and was directly responsible for overall operations, loan closings, draws, data management, internal/external reporting, regulatory compliance, and closeout planning.

Adler successfully completed HUD monitoring in September 2014, which resulted in No Findings and continued perspective of TCB as a top performing Grantee. As a result of their success, Adler's responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of pre-development lending program, which provided internal loans of other grants and lines of credit to early stage projects.

The program required daily monitoring to ensure that priority payments were able to be met on behalf of approximately 25 active and numerous less active projects. Adler was also responsible for closing a new million corporate line of credit. Jane designed and implemented funding policies and procedures that were consistent with lender and corporate requirements. All required fundings were delivered on time.

Jane Adler has a B.A. in Geography from Clark University and an M.S. in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jane also attended Bexley High School.
