Martin Valenti

Martin Valenti currently serves as the Director for Net Zero, Nature & Entrepreneurship at South of Scotland Enterprise and has held the position of Director of Energy Transition & Green Enterprise. With extensive experience, Martin Valenti has been a Strategic Director at Scottish Land Commission since May 2018, where notable achievements include establishing a leadership taskforce to address vacant and derelict land in Scotland. Martin Valenti is also the Vice Chair of the 2020 Climate Group and plays key roles in climate change initiatives while serving as Climate Change and Business Engagement Manager and Head of Strategic Partnerships at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). Prior to these positions, Martin Valenti held leadership roles at Scottish Enterprise and the Food Industry Advisory Service Ltd. Martin Valenti earned a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health from the University of Strathclyde and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Stirling.
