Carolyn Inmon

Carolyn Inmon serves as a Trustee and Clerk for the South Orange County Community College District since December 2020. Inmon co-authored a book titled "The Seven Characters of Abuse," addressing non-physical violence alongside Tanya Brown. A passionate public speaker and national speech coach, Inmon aims to help clients maximize their communication potential. Contributions as a writer for Irvine Community News and Views include a monthly column, "School Watch." Leadership experience includes past presidency of the Exchange Club of Irvine and co-chairing the City of Irvine Children Youth and Families Advisory Committee. Inmon also holds ambassadorial duties for The Joyful Child, focusing on child safety issues, and serves as interim chair for the Senior Citizens Council. Previous academic roles at Mt. San Antonio College involved leadership in forensics and honors programs, guiding students to significant achievements. Inmon holds a BA in Speech and English from UCLA and an MA in Speech from California State University, Northridge.
