Dr. Donovan Smalls II

Dr. Donovan Smalls II is an accomplished educator and leader in the field of athletic administration and leadership development. As the Founder and CEO of Smalls Leadership Consulting LLC since June 2024, Dr. Smalls utilizes extensive experience gained through various roles, including Assistant Principal in the South Orange & Maplewood School District and previous Vice Principal at Union High School. Dr. Smalls has also contributed to higher education as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Sport Management at Virginia State University. With a strong foundation in health and physical education, including roles as a teacher and director of athletic programs, Dr. Smalls has dedicated a career to fostering student-athlete development and promoting health, safety, and leadership within educational settings. Dr. Smalls holds a Doctor of Education in Athletic Administration from Drexel University, along with advanced degrees in Sport Management and Health and Exercise Science.
