Harry Barrington-Mountford is currently the Head of Policy & Programmes Department at SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL. Prior to this, they worked as the RP Programme Manager at the Medical Protection Society from December 2012 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for managing and developing the high-risk member programme, which was tasked with improving the risk profile and educational standard of participating clinicians through a number of projects. Harry was also responsible for the line management of the RPP operations team and a network of 300+ local advisors across the UK and Ireland.

During their time at the Medical Protection Society, Harry was responsible for a number of key achievements, including the development and implementation of the Risk Management Framework initiative, which resulted in a reduction of cases reported/incurred by members in the programme by 72.6% and a reduction of average claim value by 32%. Harry also led on the expansion of the programme to other international territories and the creation of systems to enable bespoke risk/remediation plans for all members in the programme.

Harry Barrington-Mountford's educational career includes attending The Coopers Company and Coborn School, as well as obtaining certifications from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in Certificate in Business Analysis Practice and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner.

They work with Paul Fielding - Head, Housing & Environment, Patrick Arran - Head of Legal & Democratic Department, and Adrianna Partridge - Deputy Chief Executive, Transformation & Operations. Harry Barrington-Mountford reports to Mark Stone, CEO.
