Heejin Jeong

Heejin Jeong is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Member at South Park Commons since November 2024. Prior to this, Heejin was the Principal AI Product Manager at Together AI, where significant contributions included leading product strategy, executing technical initiatives, and launching key features to support the company’s growth. Heejin also held various roles at Waymo, including Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Software Engineer, focusing on deep learning for behavior prediction and spearheading numerous projects. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical and System Engineering and a Master’s in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by a Bachelor's in Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Additional experience includes roles at Amazon Robotics and as a Research Scientist, alongside leadership in the Space Generation Advisory Council.
