Robert Mullis

Robert Mullis serves as the Executive Director CIO at South Piedmont Community College since August 2023, where an enterprise-grade IT operations group was established under their leadership. Prior to this, a decade-long tenure at Microsoft encompassed various roles, including Principal Director Cloud Interconnection and Acquisition, where oversight of long-haul fiber provisioning occurred, and Global Director of Network Deployment, responsible for global OSP fiber management. Experience also includes managerial positions at Family Dollar, where network engineering and technology implementation were central to responsibilities. Educational credentials include a BS in Information Technology with a focus on Networking from Strayer University and an AAS in IT Networking from South Piedmont Community College.
