Established in 2003 to meet the growing need for student housing, South Point has grown into South Africa's largest provider of student accommodation. It is now home to more than 11,000 undergrad and graduate students who live in more than 40 buildings across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth. Its scale, footprint and brand-image firmly positions South Point as SA's market leader.

South Point has also played a pioneering role in urban regeneration through its residential conversions of distressed and under-utilized commercial properties. It's award-winning success is informed by its curatorial approach to retail and commercial development.

The Management Team at South Point oversees the strategic direction and overall operational efficiency of the company. Led by the Chief Executive Officer, the team ensures smooth community engagement through the Community Manager and Content Creator, maintains financial health with the Creditors Manager, and coordinates renovation and development projects via the Project Manager. Their combined efforts ensure the successful provision of student housing and spur further urban regeneration initiatives.
