Lucila S.

Lucila S. serves as the Regional Associate Director for Climate Policy, Finance, and Carbon Markets in LATAM at South Pole and holds positions as a UNFCCC Roster of Experts member for BTR & Article 6 of the Paris Agreement with UN Climate Change and as a roster member for the Global Carbon Council. Lucila is a co-founder and senior advisor at ClimAS LLC and also serves as co-founder and director of the Foundation for Climate Change Action (FOCCA). Additional roles include board member of the Peabody Charter School Foundation and international sectoral expert at the Green Climate Fund. Previous experience includes climate change consulting for both the Inter-American Development Bank and The World Bank. Lucila’s educational background includes multiple master’s degrees in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Law and Environmental Law, along with a certificate in ESG Investing from Columbia Business School.
