Sara Nyberg

Sara Nyberg is a Senior Specialist in Sustainable Infrastructure and Cities at South Pole, where project management includes the European project URBREATH and providing consultancy on Environmental Impact Assessments. With extensive experience in greenhouse gas accounting, Sara has held various roles within South Pole, assisting clients in calculating carbon footprints and developing emission reduction strategies. In addition to this, Sara facilitates Climate Fresk workshops and contributes to the YES-Europe Advisory Board, coordinating Country Representatives while advising on climate initiatives. Academic qualifications include a Civilingenjörsexamen in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Energy Systems from Lund University and an exchange year at ETH Zürich focused on energy systems and climate. Previous roles include internships and research positions, enhancing expertise in environmental impact and sustainability practices.
