Sabrina Yacoub has extensive experience in the field of special education. Sabrina currently serves as the Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel at the South San Francisco Unified School District since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Special Education Coordinator at the New Haven Unified School District from June 2015 to May 2019, and at the Palo Alto Unified School District from July 2014 to June 2015. Sabrina also served as a Special Education Administration Academy Mentor at the El Dorado County Charter SELPA from August 2012 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Vice President of Special Programs & Director of Special Education at Envision Schools from August 2009 to July 2014. Sabrina started their career as a Special Education Coordinator at Thomas Edison Charter Academy (TECA) in 2006.
Sabrina Yacoub's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Western Michigan University. Sabrina also pursued a Master's degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University. Additionally, Sabrina has obtained Teaching Credentials in Special Education and Teaching from California State University - East Bay.
