Dan Picha has extensive experience in the banking industry, starting with their role as Assistant Manager at Fifth Third Bank from 1997 to 2000. Dan then moved on to Citizens Bank as a Branch Manager from 2000 to 2001. Following that, they joined Rockland Trust as the First Vice President, Director of Community Association Banking & Business Services from 2001 to 2016. During this time, they were responsible for managing various business-related fee income-based business lines and overseeing branch sales efforts.
In 2016, Dan joined South Shore Bank as the First Vice President, Director of Commercial Services & Digital Banking Solutions, where they provided strategic oversight and management to the sales, delivery, and servicing solutions for various business units. In 2020, they were promoted to Director of Digital, Payments, and Specialty Lending, where they were responsible for managing and strategically overseeing the bank's digital banking team, call center, deposit operations, cash management, and specialty lending business lines. Most recently, Dan has served as the Chief Banking Officer at South Shore Bank since 2022, overseeing multiple business lines, vendor relationships, and ensuring alignment of products with the bank's strategic goals.
Dan Picha began their education in 1995 at The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and completed their studies in the year 2000. In 2006, they enrolled in the Consumer Banker's Association Executive Program, where they graduated in 2008. After a significant gap in their education, Dan returned to school in 2017, attending Bridgewater State University. Dan completed the Commercial Lending Management Development Program in 2018.
