South Shore Conservatory
Jacob Clapper is a piano faculty at South Shore Conservatory and a software engineering fellow at General Assembly. Jacob has a strong background in music education and performance, with experience working as a music director, private music instructor, collaborative pianist, and resident assistant. Jacob holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
South Shore Conservatory
South Shore Conservatory (SSC) is a non-profit community school for the arts in Massachusetts. SSC’s mission is to provide access to exceptional arts education and performance for the South Shore community, fostering creativity, artistic growth, and well-being for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Serving nearly 3,000 students, the Conservatory provides instruction in over 50 programs including individual and group lessons in most instruments and voice, an arts-principled preschool and full-day pre-k and kindergarten, performance workshops, dance, drama and creative arts therapies, and a variety of performing opportunities. SSC is conveniently located at two beautiful campuses in Hingham and Duxbury and throughout the South Shore in partnership with other arts organizations, schools, social service agencies and community centers.
