Daniel Benson is a skilled firefighter with experience in both emergency and non-emergency services, currently serving at South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue since September 2020. Prior to this role, Daniel gained valuable experience as an intern firefighter at Clark County Fire & Rescue from July 2019 to June 2020, where responsibilities included firefighting, emergency medical care, and fire prevention. Daniel's background also includes leadership roles in the food industry, notably as an Associate Team Leader at Whole Foods Market, overseeing daily operations and team management. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Texas at Tyler and has completed Fire Science Protection studies at Portland Community College.
