Cynthia Shaffer

Cynthia Shaffer joined South Sound 911 in September 2010 and has over 25 years of human resources management experience in public and private organizations. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University, a Master of Education from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has two human resource professional certifications through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

Cynthia was born in California, raised in Colorado and has lived in the Puget Sound area since 1998. She and her significant other, Rob, live in Gig Harbor with their two rescue Pomeranians and enjoy playing music and kayaking.
