Andrew Barter

Andrew Barter currently serves as the Assistant Principal at South St. Paul Public Schools since August 2022. Previously, Andrew has held the position of French Teacher and Lacrosse Coach at Totino-Grace High School since September 2017. Andrew’s experience also includes serving as the Dean of Students at EXPLO in 2017, where responsibilities included managing a team focused on student safety and developing comprehensive programs addressing student welfare and disciplinary matters. Over the years, Andrew has taught French at various institutions, such as Berkshire School, Landon School, Tabor Academy, and Cardigan Mountain School. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Economics from Gettysburg College.
