Helen Simpson

Helen has over 20 years of experience at the Executive Board level and is a management consultant and qualified accountant. Helen has experience of highly challenging roles in the charitable sector and across the complete spectrum of the NHS healthcare system both in-hospital providers and in commissioning in England and Wales including Executive Director of Finance for the largest Health Board in Wales with 16,700 staff and a budget of £1.2billion.

Helen has experience serving and chairing Boards and sub-committees of various sizes and complexity within a variety of sectors, including stakeholder groups with local authority partners.

Helen has a strong desire to support both existing and future students fulfil their potential, whilst also supporting local businesses and the wider community.
