Richie Wintermute

Richie Wintermute has extensive work experience in the medical field, with their most recent position being the Chief Medical Officer at Southwest Community Health Center Inc since November 2023. Richie also holds the role of Chief of OB GYN at the same organization since May 2021.

Prior to their current positions, they worked as an Attending Physician at Bridgeport Hospital from December 2016 to December 2020. Before that, they had a role as a Physician at an Obstetrics and Gynecology private practice from August 2013 to July 2014.

Their medical career began with a residency at the University of New Mexico, where they served as a Resident Physician from July 2009 to June 2013.

Richie Wintermute completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Coe College in 2004. Richie then went on to attend The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where they earned their MD degree between 2005 and 2009.
