David Long

David Long is a highly experienced sport and exercise medicine physician currently associated with Warrnambool Sports Medicine Clinic and Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre since February 2021, and holds the position of Chief Medical Officer for the Geelong Cats since January 2021. With a background in emergency medicine at South West Health Care since 2007, David has also served as a doctor for teams including the Brisbane Lions, Melbourne Rebels, and Carlton Football Club. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne, completed in 2006. David Long has a strong commitment to sports medicine, supported by extensive practical experience.
