Peter Williams

Peter Williams currently serves as the Commercial Director at South Western Railway since May 2018. Prior to this role, Peter worked as an Independent Consultant from March 2015 to April 2018, contributing to projects for various companies such as FirstGroup Trenitalia and Chiltern Railways, and leading revenue growth initiatives for Keolis Commuter Services in the USA. From January 2010 to February 2015, Peter held the position of Commercial and Customer Service Director at East Coast Main Line Company, where East Coast trains achieved recognition as the top long-distance train operator. Other notable positions include Commercial Director at ScotRail, interim roles in marketing and sales across several organizations, and a consultancy role at Directly Operated Railways. Peter holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, completed in September 1998.
