Chaim Sproles

Chaim Sproles is currently the General Manager of Operations at South32's Cannington mine. They previously held significant positions at major mining companies, including serving as the Mine Manager for Zeta Underground at Discovery Metals Limited and as Manager of Engineering at Freeport-McMoRan, where they managed a team for the PT Freeport Indonesia underground mines. Chaim has also contributed to various roles at Rio Tinto, overseeing production activities for the Oyu Tolgoi block cave mine in Mongolia. Chaim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering and Business Management from The University of Queensland.
