Judy Brown

Judy Brown serves as the Head of External Affairs for the Americas at South32 since January 2022. Prior to this role, Judy held the position of Chief Adviser for External Affairs in Asia Pacific and Latin America with Chief Adviser from May 2014 to February 2022, focusing on corporate external affairs and reputation management across key markets. Judy's extensive experience includes leading stakeholder engagement strategies at Rio Tinto from April 2011 to June 2014 and directing government affairs and community relations for Rio Tinto Minerals from June 2004 to July 2011. Additionally, Judy contributed to federal government affairs in various roles, including Director at the Rio Tinto Washington, DC Office and as Legislative Director for the US Chamber of Commerce. Judy holds a BA in History with a minor in Spanish from Rhodes College.
