Dominique Perrissin-Fabert's work experience starts in 1998, when they worked as a Food Safety Advisor at Harrods. They were responsible for designing and implementing a Quality Assurance Self Audit system for French suppliers and assisting in day-to-day Quality Assurance work throughout the Food Halls and Catering department. They also accompanied Food Safety Officers on audit assessments of suppliers.
In 1998, Perrissin-Fabert also worked as a Noise Technician at Westminster City Council before transitioning to become a Food Safety Advisor at The Big Cheese in 2000.
From 2001 to 2015, Perrissin-Fabert held the position of Environmental Health Enforcement Officer at Westminster City Council, where they were responsible for enforcing environmental health regulations.
In 2001, Perrissin-Fabert also worked as a Development Instructor at Humana Mozambic. In this role, they were involved in various HIV and AIDs outreach initiatives, including setting up an information/counselling center for AIDS and STD prevention, organizing educational seminars, leading a survey commissioned by UNICEF, and assisting the local Red Cross with cholera control in refugee camps.
Perrissin-Fabert joined IOSH in 2018 and served as the Chair of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health Theatre Group until 2021.
From 2015 to 2022, they worked at the Royal Opera House as a Health and Safety Manager, overseeing health and safety protocols and procedures.
Currently, Perrissin-Fabert holds the position of Head of Health, Safety, and Security at Southbank Centre, starting in September 2022.
Dominique Perrissin-Fabert obtained a Master's degree in Public Health and Health Promotion from London South Bank University between 2003 and 2005. In 2012, Perrissin-Fabert earned a NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety from the British Safety Council. From 1996 to 1998, Perrissin-Fabert attended IUT St Denis and completed a DUT Sécurité Hygiène Environment (Environmental Health) degree.
