Lynne Shamwana

Lynne Shamwana is a chartered accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She is currently a non-executive director and Chair of Audit Committee of the West Brom Building Society. She was previously Chief Financial Officer of Virgin Care. She has held a variety of senior finance and management roles at Christie’s, Centrica plc, British Gas, Goldfish Bank plc and Alliance & Leicester plc.

Lynne was an independent member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Department for Work & Pensions and Chair of the Women’s Development Board of the Microloan Foundation Charity.
