Emma Irish

Emma Irish is a seasoned professional in marketing and public relations, currently serving as a Senior Marketing Specialist and Senior Public Relations Specialist at Southcentral Foundation since February 2022. Prior to this role, Emma held the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation from March 2017 to February 2022, where responsibilities included creating strategies to enhance Anchorage's economy and leading initiatives for urban revitalization and innovation. Emma's earlier experience includes serving as Business and Economic Development Director at AEDC, a Public Involvement Specialist at DOWL, and a Marketing Coordinator at Stantec. Emma began the professional journey with internships at the USDA and USPIRG. Educational credentials include a degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Gonzaga University, complemented by additional studies at American University and international experience in Florence.
