Nicole LaPlante, MSN, RN, S.A.N.E., has extensive experience in nursing, including current roles as a TeleSANE at the National Telenursing Center and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health since February 2019. Since May 2001, LaPlante has held multiple positions at Southcoast Health, including Epic Instructional Designer Ambulatory, Manager, Team Leader in the Emergency Department, and Registered Nurse. Previous experience includes serving as a Registered Nurse, Educator, and Trainer at PhoneDOCTORx, where innovative telemedicine services were provided. LaPlante earned a Master’s degree in Nursing Science from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Nursing education was initially obtained through a diploma program at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.
