Rachel McGarty

Rachel McGarty has extensive work experience in the pharmacy industry. Rachel started their career at CVS Pharmacy in 1996 as a Pharmacy Intern and later progressed to the role of Staff Pharmacist. Rachel then became a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Pharmacy before transitioning to Southcoast Health in 2003. At Southcoast Health, Rachel held various positions including Staff Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager of Quality and Education, and most recently, Executive Director of Pharmacy. Their work at Southcoast Health spans over 18 years, with their most recent role starting in February 2022.

Rachel McGarty completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island in 2000. Rachel also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, although the specific dates for this degree are not provided.
