Seanna O'Sullivan, CFRE (She/Her)

Seanna O'Sullivan, CFRE has a diverse communications background that spans two decades and has provided the foundation for leadership in connecting the right financial opportunities to the strategic priorities of an organization. Seanna is the current Grant Administrator for SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC), starting in July 2022. Prior to that, after five years as Development Officer for the University of Alaska Southeast Seanna was invited to restructure the grant management program at Bartlett Regional Hospital from April 2021 to July 2022. Seanna served as the Public Information Officer at Alaska Council of School Administrators through the pandemic from January 2020 to April 2021 as principals and superintendents worked to transform delivery of public education statewide.

Seanna has award-winning experience in the field of photography. Seanna owned and operated a successful commercial photography business beginning in 1999 and donated time and talents to local non-profit organizations including Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep from 2004 onward, earning honors and top awards from College Photographer of the Year and the Alaska Press Club. Additionally, Seanna worked as a photographer and reporter for Associated Press from 1996 to 2006, in California, Montana and finally Alaska both as editor and primary photographer. Seanna offered grant-funded workshops and classes to middle, high school and college level students throughout that time.

Seanna has a strong philanthropic background and serves as Board President for the Foundation for End of Life Care.

Seanna O'Sullivan, CFRE, completed their education from 1992 to 1996 at the University of Montana, where they earned a BA in Print Journalism and in Spanish. In 1993, they also studied at the Colegio de España at Universidad de Salamanca, focusing on Spanish Language and Literature.

Seanna is a Certified Fundraising Executive through CFRE International, a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-Global) and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
