M.D. Jakir Imtiaz

Md. Jakir Imtiaz has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Southeast Bank Limited since April 2017, following previous roles as Senior Vice President and Senior Assistant Vice President in the Central Trade Service Department of International Banking. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited from October 2000 to April 2017 included positions as Assistant Vice President, where leadership was demonstrated in the Foreign Trade Processing Division and Foreign Exchange Department. Jakir also contributed to the establishment of the country's largest scan-based Trade Processing Center and served in various capacities from Principal Officer to Probationary Officer. Academic qualifications include a BSS (Honours) and MSS in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
