Dr. Susan Ibanez

Dr. Susan Ibanez has an extensive work experience in healthcare administration and information systems. Dr. Susan currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Southeast Georgia Health System since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Vail Health from 2020 to 2023. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Memorial Hermann Health System, where they held various roles including Vice President of Information Systems Business Solutions and Director of Business Solutions. Before that, they were the AVP Project Services at HCA/Parallon Business Solutions from 2013 to 2017. Dr. Ibanez also served as the CIO at Driscoll Children's Hospital from 2010 to 2013 and worked as a Project Director at HCA from 1997 to 2010.

Dr. Susan Ibanez earned a Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA) degree from Walden University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University from 2014 to 2016. In 2006, they completed their MAIS (Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies) from the University of Houston-Victoria with a focus on Information Systems/Business. Dr. Ibanez also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Information Systems, from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, which they earned in 1993. Additionally, they earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Del Mar College in 1992.
