In October of 2022, Florida’s largest veterinary neurology practice, Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN), opened its doors in Virginia Beach, VA with the help of Dr. Montana DiVita. With fewer than 300 board-certified veterinary neurologists practicing in North America, this was an opportunity to share our special set of talents with a new community of referring veterinarians, worried pet parents, and pets in need. SEVN believes that every pet parent with a pet experiencing neurological problems should have access to excellent care. SEVN is a leader in neurosurgery, advanced imaging, and veterinary neurology, and we’ve helped more than 20,000 pets walk again since our founding. But we're more than pet neurologists. We're pet parents, like you. We know what your pets mean to you and your family, and we treat them with the compassion they deserve. We were built on these promises that we keep every day: to be there when your pets need us; to treat each of them as if it were our own; and to offer the community the latest in veterinary technology, expertise, and techniques.

Southeast Veterinary Neurology Virginia Beach

Founded in 2010 by Dr. Michael Wong and Dr. Myri-ann Melendez, Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) was the first hospital in Miami, FL to exclusively treat neurological disorders in dogs and cats and the only hospital in South Florida with in-house high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). With the addition of Dr. Nicholas DePompa in 2015, SEVN became the only hospital in South Florida with a team of board-certified veterinary neurologists available by appointment 24/7. Since our founding, we have become the leader in neurosurgery, advanced imaging, and veterinary neurology, and we’ve helped over 20,000 pets recover the ability to walk. But we're more than pet neurologists. We're pet parents, too. We know how precious your pets are to you and your family, and we treat them with the compassion and kindness they deserve. In 2020, Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) opened its third hospital with the help of Dr. Christine Senneca. Located in Jupiter, FL, we’re proud to deliver unparalleled neurological expertise. By becoming a leader in neurosurgery, advanced imaging, and veterinary neurology, we’ve helped more than 20,000 pets regain the ability to walk. But we're more than pet neurologists. We're also pet parents. We understand how important your pets are to you and your family, and we treat them with the kindness they deserve. Realizing that many pets in Palm Beach County did not have the access to expert neurological care they deserved, Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) opened its second location in 2017 in Boynton Beach, FL with the help of Dr. Michael Reese. SEVN Founder Dr. Wong had attended the University of Florida with Dr. Reese, and when the opportunity arose to work together, the decision was a no-brainer (pun intended).As a leader in neurosurgery, advanced imaging, and veterinary neurology, we've helped over 20,000 pets walk again.
