H.P. Kang has over two decades of work experience in various roles primarily related to planning, development, and project management. Currently, H.P. Kang serves as the Associate Treasurer/Director of General Services & Risk Management at the Southeastern California Conference of SDA. Prior to this, H.P. Kang was the President/CEO of Kang Consulting, a company specializing in mediating between the government process and private projects. H.P. Kang has also held key positions in organizations such as the City of Hemet, MIG, City of Loma Linda, Town of Apple Valley, and City of Fontana, where they served in roles such as Community Development Director, Principal Planner, Project Planner, Intrim Community Development Director/Senior Planner, Senior Planner, and Associate Planner.
H. P. Kang, MBA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which was completed between 1993 and 1995. Later, in 2007 and 2008, Kang pursued further education and acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from La Sierra University.
