Sarah A. Schwartz is an experienced project advisor and educator specializing in student support services and substance abuse prevention. Since December 2015, Sarah has served as a Project Advisor within the TRIO Student Support Services program at Southeastern Community College in Iowa, guiding students in their transition from community college to four-year institutions. In addition, Sarah has taught First Generation Student sections of the First Year Experience Course: The College Experience during various semesters. Prior roles include Certified Prevention Specialist at Alcohol & Drug Dependency Services of Southeast Iowa, where Sarah facilitated evidence-based curriculums, and Program Coordinator at GRADE A PLUS, managing state tobacco prevention initiatives. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Health Education and various other relevant degrees and certificates from Western Illinois University and Southeastern Community College.
