Jason Howell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jason started their career as a Shipping Clerk at Southeastern Construction & Maintenance, Inc. in 1993 and worked their way up to various roles including Assistant to the Senior Contract Administrator, Estimator, and Staff Accountant. In 1998, they became the Controller at the same company before transitioning to the role of Corporate Financial Consultant in 2004. In 2011, Jason joined the Daniels College of Business as an Assistant Professor and later served as Vice President of Finance at Southeastern Construction and Maintenance, Inc. in 2015. In 2018, they assumed the role of Manager / CFO at Dixie-Southern. Jason's expertise lies in finance, construction, and academia.
Jason Howell completed their education in a chronological order. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Florida Southern College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Physics, along with a strong background in Mathematics. Subsequently, Jason pursued further education at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. In 2004, they completed their Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, Risk Management, and Information Systems. Finally, from 2005 to 2010, Jason successfully earned their Ph.D. in Finance from the same institution.
