Rodney Cornwell

Rodney Cornwell has over 25 years of experience in information technology and project management. Rodney has held leadership positions at various companies, including Southeastern Grocers, Interface, The Home Depot, Office Depot, Eckerd, L-3 Communications, and the United States Air Force. At Southeastern Grocers, they served as Vice President of IT Application Solution Delivery, leading a team of 65+ associates and overseeing the development, integration, and support of merchandising, marketing, and supply chain systems. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of IT Retail Systems at Southeastern Grocers, responsible for all application solution delivery. Rodney also served as Director of IT Application Development at Interface, where they built and led a new application development team and implemented a new IT application strategy. At The Home Depot, they were a Senior IT Manager, leading cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of business systems. Rodney also led a multi-year program to implement a product information management solution, resulting in significant cost savings. At Office Depot, they were a Senior IT Manager, delivering IT solutions to support finance and CRM objectives. Rodney also led the delivery of a customer-centric data warehouse solution and a customer resolution process solution. Prior to that, at Eckerd, they were a Systems Manager responsible for the implementation and customization of merchandising and store design software. Early in their career, they worked at L-3 Communications as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed large complex projects and implemented an electronic configuration and data management system. Rodney began their career in the United States Air Force as an Air Force Officer, leading and managing teams in support of satellite and radar operations. Rodney also supported operations in the first Gulf War conflict. Rodney Cornwell has a proven track record of success in managing and leading IT projects and delivering innovative solutions.

Rodney Cornwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors - Systems Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy between 1986 and 1990. Rodney later attended Webster University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Space Operations / Systems. In addition, they are a certified change practitioner from Prosci, which they obtained in 2023.
