Ahmed Omran

Ahmed Omran is an experienced Information Technology Instructor and Cisco certified instructor currently serving as the Program Chair for the School of Technology at Bow Valley College since September 2021. Prior to this role, Ahmed taught at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) while also serving as a Certified Cisco CCNA Instructor. Ahmed's background includes working as a Risk Advisory Consultant in Cybersecurity at Deloitte Consulting, where significant achievements included leading the implementation of Cloud Access Security Broker solutions for major clients and training stakeholders on operations. Earlier professional experiences include quality control and assurance roles in the pharmaceutical sector and the energy sector with the Ministry of Defense and Aviation, showcasing strong leadership and analytical skills. Ahmed holds a Diploma in Information Technology from SAIT and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Al-Azhar University.
