Alex Mak currently serves as the Manager of Application Development and Support at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since October 2022. Prior to this role, Alex was a Technical Team Lead at DXC Technology from April 2017 to October 2022 and at Hewlett-Packard from November 2012 to March 2017, focusing on the Marketing and Risk bundle of applications for the Cenovus account during both tenures. Earlier in Alex's career, experience included working as a System Analyst at Fujitsu, collaborating with the Alberta Government on projects related to the Sustainable Resource Development account in the Forest Protection Branch, and as a Consultant at CGI. Alex holds certifications in ITIL V3 Foundations and a Business Analyst Certificate from NAIT, along with a degree in Computer Analyst Programmer from RRC Polytech.
