Angela Castro

Angela Castro is a Brand and Design Specialist at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since June 2022, previously holding the position of Design and Publications Specialist. Prior experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at Xerox from April 2019 to October 2022 and a Service Provider at SAIT Students' Association from September 2018 to April 2019. Angela contributed to the Student Calling Program at SAIT, which involved contacting alumni for database updates and fundraising. Angela's design expertise includes jewelry design roles at Dupree and Finart, where responsibilities encompassed trend research, conceptualization, and collection presentation. Angela began a career in industrial design at Diestra Brands & Retail, focusing on point-of-purchase materials. Education includes a diploma in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from SAIT and a degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
