Brian Bowman

Brian Bowman possesses extensive experience in advancement and organizational leadership, currently serving as the AVP of Advancement at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology since July 2008, after previously holding the position of Director, Alumni & Development. Prior roles include Artistic Director at Adult Recreational Choirs from July 2002 to June 2022, and Senior Director, Campaign & Resource Development at United Way of Calgary and Area from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Brian held the position of Director of Development, Site & Portfolio Relations at Calgary Health Trust from June 2003 to May 2006. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Alberta, graduated in 1987, participation in the Leadership Institute by Colleges and Institutes Canada in 2016, and an A.Mus. in Piano Performance from the University of Alberta, with studies completed in 1980.
