Chantelle Lamotte

Chantelle LaMotte is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in physical education, kinesiology, and volleyball coaching. Currently, Chantelle serves as the Head Coach of the Trojan Women's Volleyball team and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology since July 2020. Previously, Chantelle was an instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College, where responsibilities included teaching various physical education courses and coaching theory. Chantelle's coaching experience includes positions as Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at Edmonton Police Service and Assistant Coach for the University of Alberta Pandas Women's Volleyball team. Additionally, Chantelle has held managerial roles in Volleyball Canada’s Center of Excellence and worked as a physical education teacher in Saskatchewan. Academic credentials include ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Alberta, an M.Ed. in Coaching Studies from the University of Victoria, and dual bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Saskatchewan.
