Jacqueline Cox

Jacqueline Cox has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they worked as the Director of Marketing and Recruitment at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where they were responsible for recruitment marketing and leading a campus-wide marketing strategy. Prior to that, they were the Leader of Channel Marketing at the City of Calgary, where they led a team and developed channel marketing strategies for various departments. Jacqueline also managed the City's Multicultural Communications and Engagement Strategy. Before their time at the City of Calgary, Jacqueline worked as the Manager of Global Content/Digital Channels at Travel Alberta and as a Team Lead for Corporate Marketing/Digital Projects at the City of Calgary. Jacqueline also has experience in the private sector, having worked as a User Experience Specialist at Vodafone and as an Interactive Marketing Producer and Content Editor at Motorola.

Jacqueline Cox has a strong educational background and a range of additional certifications. Jacqueline completed an MSc (Distinction) in Information Technology from the University of Stirling in 2002, and a BA (Hons) in Design from Staffordshire University in 1996. Prior to their university studies, they obtained a BTEC Diploma in Business & Marketing from Buxton & Leek College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications over the years, including the Prosci Certified Change Practitioner certification in 2022, Introduction to Effective Intercultural Communication certification in 2022, and Indigenous Canada certification in 2021. In 2019, they became Dare to Lead Trained, and in 2017 they completed the Supervisory Leadership Development Program from the Canadian Management Centre. Jacqueline also obtained an Applied Project Management certification from the City of Calgary in 2012.
