Laura Bezemer

Laura Bezemer is an accomplished health, safety, and environment professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Health, Safety and Environment at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology since February 2020, Laura previously held the role of Health and Safety Manager at Golden Triangle Group, where key contributions included developing "Golden Rules" for safety standards and creating a comprehensive training matrix. Earlier experience includes positions at GeoPacific Consultants Ltd, where a strategic framework for health and safety practices was established, and the Government of British Columbia, where valuable assessments on health technologies were provided. Laura holds a Master of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Calgary.
