Angelica Vargas

Angelica Vargas is a Project Specialist at SoCalGas since August 2024, previously serving as a Project Manager at Pioneer Power Solutions and a New Product Introduction Engineer at Proterra Inc. Angelica has extensive experience in project management and engineering, with a background including roles such as Project Engineer and Program Manager at Romeo Power, Inc., where responsibilities included managing multiple projects and serving as the primary liaison for key teams. Angelica contributed to the successful design of a rapid prototype ventilator as a Project Manager for SmithVent during the Covent Challenge, and has previous experience in product development internship and academic support roles at Smith College, where a Bachelor of Science in Engineering was earned.
