Legal Team

The Legal Team at the Southern Center for Human Rights advocates for individuals impacted by the criminal legal system in the Deep South. This includes litigating death penalty cases, challenging unconstitutional conditions in prisons, addressing wrongful convictions, and fighting against the criminalization of poverty and racial injustice, all while promoting First Amendment rights and systemic reform.
