Aixa del Valle, PMP, currently serves as the Program Manager for Pipeline Safety Management Systems at Southern Company Gas, overseeing the development and tracking of safety strategies across various operational elements. Prior to this role, Aixa functioned as the Event Learning Program Coordinator at Southern Company, focusing on education and event learning facilitation to enhance organizational learning. Experience as a Plant Engineer at Georgia Power Company involved managing combined cycle plant operations and capital projects. Aixa's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Master's in Engineering from the University of South Carolina, coupled with initial engineering roles in energy conservation and environmental health and safety.
