Emeka Igwilo has a strong background in various leadership roles within the energy industry. Emeka started their career at AGL Resources in 2004, where they served as a Manager in GIS Support Services. Emeka then moved on to a role as Supplier Diversity Manager in the Supply Chain department, followed by a position as Director of Asset Data and Analytics. In 2013, Emeka joined Atlanta Gas Light as the Director of Regional Operations, where they remained until 2016. Emeka's most recent role was at Southern Company Gas, where they held multiple positions including Managing Director of Resource Management, Vice President of Operations Support, and most recently, Chief Data Officer and VP of Operations Support. In this role, Emeka was responsible for data and decision support strategy as well as overseeing enterprise asset management and pipeline safety operations.
Emeka Igwilo holds an Executive MBA in Global Business from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. Additionally, they have a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems from Devry University. Emeka has also obtained certification in the Black Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company in 2021.
